Li ChenDocumentation Team, Production Team
Li graduated with a Bachelor in TV Program Direction from Zhejiang Media and Communication University. He is an accomplished editor as well as having experience shooting documentaries and short films.
Li is currently studying for a Master of Art at UNSW Art & Design. He is passionate about different forms of art and has joined the virtual reality studio for 3D modelling.

Yunian ChenGraphic Design Team
Yunian graduated from Guangdong University of Technology, Art & Design with majors in fine art and fashion design. The university's art centre acquired some of her artworks after her graduation. She is now studying for a Masters in Curating & Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design.
Yunian has a wealth of experience in art training courses, working as a supervisor in Xingyu Space Culture Communication Co. Ltd Zhuhai, China, and also as course director at LiveinArtSydney.

Bernard DabrowskiCommunications and Marketing Team
Bernard graduated from the University of Sydney in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science/Architecture (Honours) and a Bachelor of Architecture. After working in the industry for a number of years as a graduate architect he has now finished his Bachelor of Art Theory. He is currently doing his Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design and hopes to work at Sydney Living Museums following a possible internship.

Ivana JovanovicCuratorial Team
Ivana Jovanovic is completing a Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design. As an emerging artist and curator, she is interested in community-engaged projects surrounding issues such as gender diversity, affective labour and sensory experience.
Ivana is currently undertaking an Internship at The Big Anxiety Festival of Arts + Science + People 2017. In future she hopes to curate and create work that provides accessible platforms for interdisciplinary and cross-cultural conversations.

Yuanyu LiWebsite Team
Yuanyu obtained an honors degree in Geography. After graduating from HKBU, she discovered her enthusiasm for art and moved to Sydney. She is now pursuing a Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design.
Yuanyu is currently undertaking her internship at Vermilion Art Gallery. This builds on her experience participating in exhibitions and art fairs such as Sydney Contemporary. She is passionate about art and enjoys exploring the possibilities across different art practices, where she is able to focus on creative and innovative ideas. She will be curating her first exhibition in November for Vermilion Art.

Having completed her undergraduate degree in piano performance, Jiasheng Liu worked in Guangzhou Opera House, which inspired her enthusiasm for art administration. She is currently studying for a Masters in Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design. She is passionate about curating and arts and hopes to devote herself to the creative and cultural industries.

Fengjiao Liu (Rachel)Documentation Team
Fengjiao Liu is studying for a Master in Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design. Her undergraduate major was broadcasting and hosting and after graduating she taught the broadcasting and directing courses.
As a cross-disciplinary student, Fengjiao is most interested in engaging practically with art as a curator and hopes to build bridges between artists and galleries.
Fengjiao is responsible for the promotional film for this project.

Yuan Meng (Phoebe)Production Team, Website Team
Phoebe is an energetic international student from China who has come to Australia to study for a Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design. To learn something that she has real passion for, she decided to change her major after completing her Bachelor of Administration Management at Shanghai Normal University in China. In her spare time Phoebe is also running her own makeup channel on Chinese social media platform BiliBili. In this way she can look for more opportunities to put knowledge into practice in the cultural and beauty Industry.

Manuel Olivares Barreto (Felipe)Communications and Marketing Team, Graphic Design, Website Team, Hospitality Team
Journalist, communication consultant, amateur photographer, graphic design junkie, repressed writer and frustrated bass guitar player, Felipe jumped to the Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW as a way to engage and get involved in the field he's been passionate about for many years: artistic manifestations.
Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, he has lived in Australia since 2014, Felipe is pursuing the dream of working as a cultural producer for the always vibrant and dynamic Sydney art scene.

Tom PhillipsonCuratorial Team, Production Team
Tom Phillipson is an Australian Digital media producer, working primarily with video, motion graphics, music and sound production. In his career Tom has received a number of grants, with the most recent being from the Australia Council, the Australia Government Arts advisory body, to establish a Berlin-based production studio in 2012 at the renowned cultural hub and club Stattbad Wedding. Recently returned from seven years living in Berlin, Germany, he has produced film clips for electronic music heavyweights such as Dominik Eulberg, Piemont, Sacha Robotti, Noah Pred, Emerson Todd and Deepchild to name a few. He has also worked with commercial clients such as Vice Magazine, Carhartt WIP and Eastpak Germany.
Recent exhibitions include work in the Eastpak Artist Studio 2011 and 2012, Blooom Art Fair Köln, Supermarkt, Strychnin Gallery, Superplan, Neon Chocolate Gallery, China Heights and Oh Really Gallery.

Lesley-Anne RichardsonCuratorial Team, Website Team
Lesley-Anne Richardson completed her Bachelor of Psychology at Western Sydney University and is now undertaking her Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design. She is interested in the ways in which art can be made accessible for a wide range of audiences, particularly in the practical applications of art within mental health programs. Lesley-Anne looks forward to curating programs and exhibitions with a focus on audience engagement and inclusivity.

Anoush Jay SansomCuratorial Team, Hospitality Team
After half a decade wandering in the wilds of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Anoush has returned to Sydney. As an emerging artist and curator he is interested in investigating questions around social practices and human relationships, the urban environment and the liquid nature of contemporary life, drawing inspiration from thinkers such as Deleuze, Foucault, de Certeau, Baudrillard and Barthès. He is also interested in answering more important questions like: Why do supermarkets sell containers that are labelled ‘pasta’ yet aren’t tall enough to fit spaghetti in without breaking it in half? Or will climate change affect our ability to buy drinkable wine under $20? In his leisure time he enjoys long walks on short beaches, and occasionally dressing up in men’s clothing.

Yani has had a long career as a professional book editor and has worked in various roles and sectors within the publishing industry. Her passion for art inspired her to undertake a Graduate Diploma in Arts Administration, and she has now returned to UNSW Art & Design to complete additional subjects towards a Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership.

Juexi Wang (Chelsea)Production Team
Inspired by learning philosophy and aesthetics in her undergraduate degree, Chelsea Juexi Wang is interested in researching the interrelationship between philosophy and art. After years of theoretical study, she is looking for a practical approach to understanding and interpreting the fascinating art world. She is currently studying for a Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design.

Shuyao Wang (Perry)Documentation Team, Production Team
Perry completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts at Sydney College of the Arts and is now studying for a Master in Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design. Perry worked for the contemporary Chinese artist Xu Bing as his assistant and also at the Yuz Muzeum in Shanghai.
Perry is interested in found object and lo-tech video art. She hopes to curate exhibitions that combine everyday objects with art and respond to the contemporary social context.

Karolin obtained bachelor degrees in Russian Language and Literature and International Economics and Trade at Jilin University in China. Having spent years understanding other cultures by learning new languages, Karolin is interested in the beauty and diversity of cultural differences.
Karolin is passionate about the cultural and creative industries and feels a sense of responsibility for taking care of culture. Thus, she is now completing a Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership at UNSW Art & Design.

Inspired by visiting museums and learning the context of the exhibitions, she is passionate about curating and designing even though she has little background in art and design. She never imagined that she would actually participate in curating a social space exhibition and engage with artists. She will take advantage of this opportunity to gain experience to help her find curatorial work.
